The Victory Center has been providing services to cancer patients and their families since 1996.
Our mission is to support and educate cancer patients and those closest to them by providing programs and services in our local community (Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan).
At The Victory Center, we realize that cancer’s effect is on the whole family. Family members who take advantage of our programs and services tell us that they experience more balance and perspective in their lives and that they are better equipped to support their loved one through the cancer journey. Having a loved one with cancer can be a frightening experience to say the least. One of the most difficult challenges for many family members is the helplessness that comes with not being able to “fix” the pain and suffering that a loved one feels. Fear of losing a loved one may become overwhelming.
All of our group services and special programs, as well as short term counseling, are available to family members and caregivers of those with cancer. If you are a family member, your loved one needn’t be a participant here for you to take advantage of these services. Although programs and services are offered free of charge, a donation to The Victory Center is welcomed and appreciated.
