Dianne – Executive Director – dcherry@thevictorycenter.org

I have been the Executive Director since 2010 and am continuously awed and inspired by the cancer patients and survivors we serve every day. I am so grateful to be a part of The Victory Center and everything we do. Prior to coming to TVC, I spent nearly 18 years in the fundraising/development field. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my kids and hubby, teaching a Nonprofit Administration class at my alma mater BGSU, volunteering for various organizations, and dreaming of the beach!

Itzel – Operations Manager – ikrauss@thevictorycenter.org

My journey with TVC started in 2011 when I received services after being diagnosed. I later joined the Board and served for 7 years as the Treasurer, Vice President, and President. I spent 20 years in public accounting, 15 of those as the operations manager and I am thrilled to be part of TVC’s staff and put my knowledge and skills to work. My husband Josh and I live in Monclova with our two daughters. In my free time, I enjoy crafting and gardening. I love the Metroparks and all the art that Toledo has to offer.

Kimberly – Special Events Manager –knewman@thevictorycenter.org

For several years, I dedicated my life to NW Ohio/SE Michigan as a meteorologist at both WTOL and NBC24. After a brief stint in South Bend, Indiana, I’m proud to be back in Toledo… but it wasn’t the weather that brought me home! I’ve found my forever-family in Toledo with my fiancé, Josh, and the team at The Victory Center. In 2021, I took over planning Over The Edge for Victory, our colorful Luncheon Fashion Show, and the Celebrity Wait Night events. Toledo’s premier cancer wellness center heals hearts, minds, and souls and I’m thrilled to be part of that journey for so many people in my community. When I’m not working, I’m watching true crime documentaries with my rescue dog, Ginger.

Hattie – Program Director –hlykowski@thevictorycenter.org

The Victory Center’s mission is near and dear to my heart. Having cared for loved ones with cancer, I’ve seen the positive impact TVC has on everyone who walks through the door. It’s an honor to be part of the team and be inspired by this community every day. As Program Director I am dedicated to creating and promoting programs that enhance the lives of those we serve. I have a degree in Health Sciences from the University of Toledo and bring years of experience in disability and community advocacy, health education, and outreach. Advocating for our community and helping folks overcome barriers in their lives is my passion! When I’m not at work you’ll usually find me in the garden with my dog, Iggy. I love to travel, dance with my clogging club, and spend time with family and friends.

Jason – Development Officer – jgriffin@thevictorycenter.org

I am thrilled to be part of The Victory Center and do such rewarding work with an impressive group of people. Having lost both parents to cancer, this cause is very near and dear to me. The services that TVC provides truly make a difference in so many lives and it is an honor to be a part of the organization. Prior to TVC, I spent 8 years in higher education (Marketing) and 14 years as a Broadcaster/PR Director with the Toledo Storm, Mud Hens, and Walleye. In my free time, I enjoy broadcasting high school sports (BCSN), traveling, finding a good beach to read a book and spending time on the golf course with my wife, Jennifer and our two sons (Hank and Eddie).

Sandy – Office & Volunteer Coordinator –switt@thevictorycenter.org

My journey at The Victory Center began in 2016 when I came on board as a volunteer. Within a few months, I started facilitating the Healthy Steps classes and continue to do so. I am now so happy to be a part of this incredible organization, especially being a 3 time cancer survivor myself. I work at the front desk in the Perrysburg office coordinating the volunteers and managing the wig bank. I strive to make each person who walks through our doors feel welcome and supported. Just prior to my start at TVC, I retired from a 25 year podiatry practice. I love sports, adventure, the beach and spending time with my husband and kids.

Lori – Volunteer Administrative Assistant –lknouss@thevictorycenter.org

I came to The Victory Center for a support group in 2007 after my own cancer diagnosis.
I enjoy being a voice for living and letting folks know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. A few years ago, I started helping at the front desk at TVC. Little did I know I would feel right at home when the opportunity to be there full time came to me. Sometimes life takes you not where you planned, but where you should be–and I feel like I’m there! I have four children, and one awesome granddaughter (so far)!

Lisa – Support Navigator – lrasey@thevictorycenter.org

I started at The Victory Center as an Oncology Massage Therapist and yoga instructor, and soon realized I had found my people!  Now, I gratefully serve as the organization’s Support Navigator. I have lost family members to cancer which then changed everything from how I live this life to every relationship I hold. It’s my passion to help others along life’s journey by advocating for those who can’t advocate for themselves, creating ceremonies and rituals to celebrate life’s milestones, becoming a death doula, and educating others about alternative therapies. In my spare time, I enjoy communing with mother nature through gardening, planning magical walks with my grandchildren and discovering 4 x 4 offroad trails and adventures with my husband.

Jessica – Administrative Assistant-Defiance – jbidwell@thevictorycenter.org

I was born and raised in Iowa where I ran a health food store for 11 years. I met my husband there and about 5 years ago we moved to the northwest Ohio area where he is from. It’s very special to get to be a part of the expansion of The Victory Center, opening our third location in Defiance. I look forward to watching this new location grow and to be a part of the hope and happiness that The Victory Center brings to the lives of all those touched by cancer. Since losing my mom to a long battle with cancer in 2016, this is incredibly near and dear to my heart. In my free time, I love traveling to visit friends and family and making trips back to Iowa. We also love creating memories and going on adventures with our two boys who are 2 and 5 and always keep us on our toes.
